You can call teh credit card compney as ask them to remove your name and cancel the card which is in your name
You must have to contact credit beuro & request them to remove your name from credit, They will aks to your husband before removing you name from credit.

Hi Guest,
If you co-signed with your husband for the credit card and now want your name to be removed, you have two options. You can request the credit card company to remove your name from the debt. If it is not possible, then you can ask them to close the co-signed account to stop any further transaction, leaving your husband responsible for the debt incurred till the time of the closure. He can then open another account on his own or can take help from another co-signer in this regard.

jenkin7 has also made wise suggession, You may think it over.
gunz, the credit agencies would not be involved in this situation. if our poster is successful in being relieved of responsibility by the creditor, that will be so reported to the agencies by the creditor.
however...guest, i don't think you'll be especially successful in your endeavor, unless the account in question is in good standing. a more likely event is to jointly (with your husband) ask the creditor to close out the existing account and open a new one in your husband's name only...i.e. transfer the account to a new one.

All this needs to be done by the credit card compny, but th request need to come from the customer in normal situation
