While reviewing my 3 credit reports, TU states that my chapter 13 will continue to report for ten years whereas both EQ and EX clearly states it will drop off in seven years. Isn't that wrong?
Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
Chapter 13 will remain in your credit report for 7 years whereas Chapter 7 gets reported for 10 years. Once 7 years are over, you should get in touch with credit bureaus and dispute the item to remove it from your credit report.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

chapter 13 bankruptcy stays in your credit report for around 7 years. till the time bankruptcy remains in your credit report, your credit score is negatively affected. but, with time, the negative effect of bankruptcy gets diminished.
in chapter 13 bankruptcy, your debts are not erased. rather, a debt repayment plan is offered to you. the negative effect of chapter 13 bankruptcy remains in your credit report for around 7 years. once that time period is over but if still the effect of bankruptcy shows up in your report, then you have all the rights to dispute it.
