Hi there… I am trying to clean up my credit and wanted to know if I send a DV letter to the CRA's first or the CAs/JDBs first... or both at the same time? I intend to do a PIF for PFD agreement.
The debt validation letter (DV letter) is always sent to CA or the JDB. It cannot be sent to the original creditor.
Hi Wander!

I agree with Niicss. You will have to send the debt validation letter to collection agency. If they are unable to validate the debt, then you can think of disputing the account with the credit bureaus and try to get rid of them from your credit report.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
