Hi there… I have began the process of cleaning up my credit which are a result of my wrong financial decisions. Right now my scores are in the very low 500s. However, I have a car loan which I pay on time. But I have about 10 old collection accounts and a car repo about 6 months ago. Is two yrs a reasonable goal to get all this cleaned up?
Two years is a reasonable time period to improve your credit and get rid of the negative items. You should take steps to clear off your old collection accounts by paying them off. You can either settle or consolidate the debts and try to get rid of them.
