I sent FPB a 623 dispute letter last month and received two letters in response from them. One letter mentioned that the account was opened on an exact date but they could not send me the application because it was opened online or by phone. The second letter told me I would have to pay 3 dollars per copy if I wanted the statements. I drafted a letter letting them know of their violations and was going to sent it to them on the 30th day which is the 15th. Well today I got a letter letting me know that they are deleting this account with the four major credit reporting agencies because it is not mine! It should take 30 to 60 days to update. How great would it be if EQ,TU, or EX verified it after the date of deletion the letter!!!
That is really a good news that they understood their mistake and decided to remove the account from your credit report!! Congratulations :)
