Hey guys I disputed an item on my report and I believe that today or tomorrow is the 30days timeframe. So there are chances that it will be taken off my report only 1 thing I’m trying to figure out. None of the 3 agencies have sent me anything in the mail yet saying anything or sent me my report or saying verified, which is good but I'm using the free equifax for the month at the moment it says in the dispute center the status was completed on 7/11/12 by equifax and mailed. But on my online report I saw that they change this item a few times to customer dispute to nothing then last week to customer disputes and still shows this. What does this mean they haven't verified right and this will come off my report right?
Hi Modnel,
It should be noted here that the 30 days time period is given to resolve the dispute and not to have the debt resolved and sent back to you and received in your hands.
Thanks,
Jerry

Welcome Modnel,
If the verified status is not mentioned in your credit report against that item, then there are chances that it will be removed from your credit report. After the 30 days time period gets over, you can contact the credit bureaus and ask them to remove the item from your credit report.

First I will recommend you to wait for at least 30 days. And then again check credit report at Creditreport.com. If your credit report still contains that item you wanted to remove, contact your credit bureau and ask them with proofs to remove it from your credit report.
