How does divorce affect credit score?
As far as I know, divorce will not affect your credit score in any way. Your credit score can get affected in case of late payments, past due payments, foreclosure, bankruptcy, short sale, deed in lieu or any other negative items in your credit report.
divorce has no effect on credit score. of course, the underlying aspects of a divorce will certainly have an effect, as couples often struggle in paying bills as a result.
as long as you are resolving property ownership dispute with proper care & making payments on time, divorce will not put any impact on yuor credit reporrt
Thank you
If in the settlement, court ask any one of them invoved to pay child support or some kind of monthly poayment, will that be considered a debt and does it show up on the credit report

The divorce itself will not have an affect on your credit score. What will have the affect on the credit score is is your ex is supposed to be making payments on credit cards and does not make them.
Thank you
