There are various items on my credit report that are over 7 years. How do I erase those? They mention wrong dates of starting these credit cards and wrong amounts. Please help me?
Welcome ortis,
You can contact the credit bureaus and ask them to remove the more than 7 years old items from your credit report. I hope this will help resolve your issue.

Hi ortis!

As far as wrong amounts mentioned in your credit report is concerned, you need to dispute it with the credit bureaus.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Since 7 years are already over, the negative items should not be there in the credit report.
Well, if already seven years have passed then you should get a copy of your credit report and check it out because this info must be removed. If it is still there then, write a letter to your reporting agency regarding the errors and send it along with the documents of proof. Also, send a copy of this letter to the related credit agency. After approx 30 days again check out your credit report and see whether everything have been fixed out or not. Hope this helps.
