I am trying to bring up my credit score so I am trying to budget money by sending a little bit to some of my creditors, but I am wondering which ones I should pay off first? I have only a couple of credit cards I have paid a majority of those off by now, but should I start with the more expensive ones or just start out paying off the smaller ones first? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Thank you
Hi Missy12342008
In my opinion you should start paying those which are expensive one, and slowly you can add other creditors.
But if some creditor is planning to take any immediate action,(foreclosure, sue) then irrespective of its amount or interest rate you should pay them first because it will cost more to build a credit than what you save on interest difference.

Yes it would be nice to start paying off the more expensive ones but also the olders ones too if they are already taking action against you.
thank you all for your answers. I don't know of any that are taking any action against me except for one that was a pretty old account that I had forgotten about they have tried to garnish my wages which I don't have any so I am trying to get them paid off asap, and then I will work on my older accounts, and more expensive ones thanks again for your help
