'FREE FOR 30 DAYS" is not free! geni, please refrain from touting services that are not what they claim to be.
Mr.George,
I am not sure what is your interpretation of FREE.
It is free for 30 Days.
Thank you

Thank you
and you know as well as i do (i hope) that people get hooked in with these easy schemes and end up paying $6 or $7 every month for an ongoing "review" of their scores.
sorry, but these are not gifts being handed out; they are money-making enterprises.

Depends how you mange your self and your money.
yes, indeed; and we know that americans manage their selves and their money poorly on the whole...otherwise all the organizations making money off the backs of those who don't know any better wouldn't exist to begin with.
Right on George!!!
Do you honestly think these companies are offering these promotions out of the kindess of their hearts??? It's no different than a free trial of freecreditreport.com for 7 days or all the others. If you haven't been suckerred yourself than just ask around. I'm sure almost everybody knows atleast one person who ended up paying for something they didn't want just to see their "free" credit reports.

If some is not plannign properly, then no once can help.
So the information I was sharing with good intention, not for promotion.

geni, i never questioned your motivation in posting that information. i simply disagree with you that it's "free" given the ease with which people are "suckered in" as scott put it so well.
you may be one of the fortunate few (few is 3, right?) who plan properly. the vast majority of people fail to plan - they may not admit it, but we all know it's true. as a consequence, these oh-so-charitable companies are making tons of money with negligible effort and minimal value to consumers.

I understand.
We all know nothign is free is life. We all need to keep our eyes open and look for opprtunities to save and share.
No harm done by you or any one else, so we are good.
