Hi jefflent,
Unless West Coast Filing files a lawsuit and gets a judgment against you, they won't be able to garnish your wages. As far as Lexington Law is concerned, I don't think they are a scam. Check out the given page in order to know more about them: "http://www.bills.com/lexington-law-review/".

They supposedly told my wife that papers are going to be served I guess by sheriff to go to court. Someone had told me to offer a 25% reduction on original bill or file chapter 7.
Hi Guest,
You should contact your lender and offer the reduction. Before that, if you have received the summons from the court, then you will be liable for giving a reply to it. In case if you can't convince the lender about your situation, then it will be a better option to file bankruptcy and get rid of the debts.
Thanks

How much are we talking about, Jeff? A couple hundred dollars? Or tens of thousands of dollars?
They said $6100 with lawyer fees etc. I know the credit card debt was about $1000.
