First Credit Card

Hi Jenny, If you have been denied alot for your normal credit card. Have you tried a store like macys or jcpenny? they have been easy to get in the past im not really sure about in this economy. Another option would be to get a secured credit card if you have some money to put down as a "down payment" to secure the credit limit. Its an easy way to start building credit and get to the good cards a little later down the road.

I forgot to say these secured credit cards are widely available at most banks and credit unions, Like Boa, wells fargo, and i think capital one also offers secured credit cards.

You can contact the local banks and apply for your first credit card. The banks will let you know the process of securing a credit card.
