I got a discharge from my bankruptcy filing in 2012. I am now planning to improve my credit so that I can get credit in future. How many secured credit cards can I apply for now?
Hi Berr,
You can apply for 1 or 2 secured credit cards now. Once you improve your credit a bit, then you can look out for unsecured credit cards.
Take care

Hi Berr!
Welcome to the forums!
As Sara has suggested, you can take out two secured credit cards in order to improve your credit situation. Apart from this, you can even check out the given page to know some steps to improve your scores: http://www.mortgagefit.com/credit-rating/credit-repair.html .
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hey Berr! I agree with what everyone said here. One or two secured credit cards are enough to help you improve your score. Make sure to use them sparingly, so you can pay your balances off on time and in full. Do this religiously and banks may eventually offer you regular credit cards. I would leave you a link of the list of the top secured credit cards.
