My Equifax score is 553, Transunion 683, Experian 603. I do have $168k in student loans I'm still in school so they are deferred. I have a vacation loan on there that went to collections that I can make arrangements on it and that't the only things I have left to pay can I get a mortgage?
Welcome shantee,
The lenders will take your middle score into consideration while approving you for a loan. In your case, 603 is the middle score. You may apply for a FHA loan. This loan requires a score of 600-620. However, in order to get a FHA loan, you shouldn't have much negative items in your credit score. You have mentioned that one of your loans went into collections. You should first pay it off in order to get qualified for a loan. This will help you in increasing your credit score to some extent and your chances of getting a FHA loan will also increase.

Hi,
You have a good credit score to get an FHA loan. The lender checks the credit score, source of income and current or delinquent on payments. To qualify for an FHA loan, you will need to have reasonable debt to income ratios. Consult a good attorney for detailed information, do a market research and then apply for it. You also mentioned that you have a debt which is in collection, try to clear it off early so that you don't face any problem in getting the loan. All the best.
