How your identity is at risk if you have lost your wallet?
Hi chandanlinks,
Your wallet may contain your social security card which will have the social security number. If you lose the number, there are high chances that you will be a victim of identity theft.
Take care

It may also contain your credit cards which the thief can use to shop which can lead you to face a financial crisis.

It depends on what is inside your lost wallet. If you only have your student or employee identification card inside it, then chances are low that your identity will be stolen. On the other hand, if you have your credit cards, identification cards and your social security card inside your wallet, then you are at greater risk of being victimized by identity theft.
