Hi there… I faced severe financial issues in the last few years and couldn’t manage the situation any further so had to file Chapter 7. I have received a discharge from all my debts but it has dinged my credit badly. How can I improve my credit now?
Hi Convoy,
As your bankruptcy filing has been discharged, it will be better if you can take steps on your own in order to improve your credit scores. You should apply for secured credit cards and pay them on time in order to improve your scores.
Thanks,
Jerry

After a few months your score may gradually rise as each liquidated or reorganized debt is removed from your report. Some people report that their scores are as high as eight hundred within a few months after filing.
