I paid my debt which was sent to collection agency and then they reported a KD to my report and it lowered my score now I am scared to do anything else. I do have funds and I am not looking for a deal I want a better score. Can someone tell me what I can do to improve my credit score and how much it will impact it.
Hi Nan,
You should contact the collection agency and ask them to update the status of your account properly. You can even dispute the status of that account with your credit bureaus. In order to know some steps to improve your credit score, check out the given page: http://www.mortgagefit.com/credit-rating/credit-repair.html
Thanks,

Welcome Nan,
I agree with Jerry's opinion. You should contact the collection agency regarding the status of the account and also dispute this with your credit bureaus. You can also provide the credit bureaus with the details of the payment on that account. This will help the credit bureaus in updating the status of the account on your credit report.
