Does keeping my usage of my credit card limits to under 50% all the time and paying it every month. Will this help increase my score?
Hi Jackie, Yes but it will be much better if you keep it under 30-35% and yes paying it every month on time, Doing this over time and yes it will help increase your fico.
jackie, try and reduce your usage to 30% of the limits. you're doing things right, but this will enhance your score even more. other things you can do: don't go shopping for credit too often, as each credit inquiry will cause a hit to your score. take extra pains to make your payments every month. if you have an opportunity to increase a credit limit on one of your accounts, that's fine - just don't use it.
Jackie
You would want to keep ti under 10% with in the limts of your card limit and if you keep making ayments regularly, it will help to increase your score quickly
Your credit score and report is based on the following
35% is based on payment history
30% Amount you owed
15% length of history
10% New credit
10% on types of credit
So your payemnt history accoutns for majority of the credit score
ANy over utilization will reduce yoru score quickly also
Goodluck and feel free to ask

Please reply

As far as I know, all the factors are considered as a whole in order to get a consumer's credit score. I don't think each factor would separately help you gaining credit points.
which all factors you are talking about NIICSS?
All of them
