Hello all,
First let me say this forum is great on many levels as I am an avid reader. Here is a question I have not seen answered here as of late.
I recently had a negative item on my credit report removed that was frivolous. This was done through Experian, my question is how long will it take to boost my score from said change?
Also will Experian tell the other credit agencies about this change as I am not seeing a change in my recent FICO score.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Guest!
Welcome to forums!
It will take some time in order to boost your credit score after the removal of the negative item from your credit report. The time period is not specifically mentioned anywhere. You need to contact the other credit bureaus and dispute the negative item with them as well. This will help you in updating your credit report with all the 3 bureaus.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Ok thanks, so pretty much I have to pay for 2 more credit reports with the other bureaus.
Bumping,
Also my vantage(fako) score jumped back up the next few days after the item was removed from my report. My Fico score is still the same with the negative item still listed.
I am reading conflicting resources that say if one bureau investigates a debt that is indeed false, they will contact the other bureaus and let them know of the change. However I also read the opposite of my last statement.
Anyone have some hard evidence pertaining to this issue?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think that credit bureau will contact the other bureaus and let them know about the disputed item. You'll have to contact them and ask them to remove the negative item from your report.
Yes you will have to contact each one individually and let them know about the negative item being removed. Also the change will not be immediate.
