I have a repossession of a motor home which was in my name.. can the creditor, or collection agency put a lean on another vehicle i own now. the motor home i have has been paid off by a friend who made me a personal loan, that i have a promissory note on.. but the title is in my name.. how can i protect this as it does not actually belong to me..
Hi uye,
If the property deed mentions your name, then you're the owner of the property. However, as there is a mortgage on the property, you can pay off the loan and get a lien release certificate. This will help you in saving the property.
Thanks
