Hello everyone... I want to take out a mortgage but I am married and my wife has bad credit. Will I be able to take out a loan claiming I am unmarried?
Hi Guest,
You should not claim anything false to the lender. You should inform the lender about your marital status and inform him that you want to qualify for the loan alone.
Thanks,
Jerry

Welcome Guest,
I agree with what Jerry has said. It won't be a good option to say anything false to the lender. You should rather tell the truth and try to get the loan.

You should not tell anything lie to your lender. If by chance, he comes to know about it, he may not trust you anymore. Inform him that you want to obtain the loan only in your name.
