Hello everyone…
A medical bill is mentioned on my CR for a couple of years that I was getting nowhere with. Can you let me know how I get this removed from my credit report so that I can easily apply for a loan?

Hi Joshlin,
Is the account paid off? If the account is not paid off, then you should try and pay off the debt so that the lender can easily approve you for a loan in the future. If you have already paid off the debt, then you can contact the concerned lender and request him to remove the account from your credit report.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Joshlin!
Welcome to forums!
You can send a goodwill letter to the concerned creditor and ask him to remove the negative information from your credit report.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

If the medical bill is showing in your credit report which you are not responsible for, you have all the rights to dispute it. You can request the lender to take appropriate measures to eliminate that from your report.
