I'm in the middle of a FHA loan. The bank hasn't been responsive and we're going through a broker. He is trying his best. The bank keeps coming back and asking for paperwork and oftentimes requesting paperwork they've already had asked for two times prior! So today we made the call to start the backup plan. The realtors suggested a great place that was local to me. I called and we let him pull our credit. Our scores have gone up and certainly we didn't take out any new loans during the whole process. Naturally, 10 minutes later, the bank issues a clear to close. We're going to close Thursday morning. If they pull our credit, what will happen when they see the inquiry?
Hi Bill,
You can explain the enquiry to the underwriter and I hope that will satisfy him. I don't think your loan will get cancelled just because of an enquiry.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Bill,
I too agree with Jerry in this regard. If you can convince the underwriter, then things won't be difficult for you. You may get the loan.
