Let multiple lenders pull scores?

Posted on: 21st Feb, 2013 12:53 am
I have worked hard on rebuilding my credit score and it has reached to 658 from 543! Considerably higher than I expected! SO, my question is about letting multiple lenders pull my scores. I have narrowed it down to 2 credit unions, and 1 mortgage broker that I would like to work with. Do I let them all pull for a pre-approval?
Hi Guest,

It is true that any kind of hard pull can have a negative impact on your credit scores and lower it. But it should also be noted here that multiple hard pulls count as one from 15-45 days depending on bureau.

Take care

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

I agree with what Sara has said. If the credit unions and lenders pull your credit report within that stipulated period of time, it won't have much negative impact on your scores.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
