I used myfreecreditreport.com to check my reports and scores before learning everything that I have and so I was wondering if anyone knows how big a dif. there is the scores from this and myfico.com is.

I have got some of my neg. that were wrong takin care of and my scores are
656 on exp. and 734 transu. I plan on pulling my fico score but not untill after the first of the month.
my scores have shot up snice getting things fix in the last month just goes to show you need to keep a close eye on things
my equifax is still low at 576 but its not showing the sstuff updated yet that my banker had to fix.

If your going to buy a house go by the Fico score I know this as fact as I just bought a house and most mortgage companies use Fico they do not use Vantage or TransUnions scoring sytem---I ended up buying mine at the Fico site for the Equifax score and monitoring it --it was pretty cheap and than I was able to buy my Fico Trans Union score from them too cheap also---the difference is about 50 -75 points---I beleive Vantage for Experian uses 300-900 scoring system ------the credit scoring is crazy-I think--- its like they want people to have debt---I had paid everything off 2 years ago and my credit scores just stalled--I actually had to end up buying a car and getting a credit card to make it move in the postive---but hung in there paid everything on time and was good with rent payments and got a loan and closed Dec 2009---new home owner--glorious feeling!
Good luck!

Always use the credit scoring system that the lender will use and that's FICO

The only recommended place to pull credit scores is myfico.com
