I am in a process to improve my score. Now if I continue to pay my bills in time, how many points can I get added to my score?
There is no set number of points you will gain per say as far as I know. One rep with a credit company once told me you should gain 4-7 points for a clean profile (on time payments, no inquires, and no maxed out balances) every 30 days. Depending on how close or far you are from the score you're looking for, you may want to check with your loan officer for his/her thoughts.
Keep in mind you do not want to keep running your credit if its been fairly recent since the last pull. I hope this helps...

Hi, It just depends on all kinds of numbers. On how many points you will get for paying bills on time. There is just too many factors that go into creating a fico score. Paying your bills on time and keeping you debt low is the best way to increase your score. And checking your own credit does not effect your credit score.
Credit card bills, installment payments and any sort of loans are of the utmost importance to be paid on time. If you are slightly late on a utility or a cable bill, it won't show on your credit unless it goes to collections. I am NOT advising not to pay these on times however.
Decrease amount of credit being used, increase amount of credit offered and continue to pay everything without lates...this will improve your score.

If you pay ill on time with out accumulating any more debt you can improve your score atleast 5 - 10 points
you can improve your score by paying bills upto 10 points.
