Hi, Husband and I are wondering if we should attempt to pre qualify....this is where we are at right now. With my SSD and my Husband wages we earned 59k, my husband pays $251 a week child support arrears and this will end in 12 months, we have IRS taxes that we have been making repayments for over a year in the amount of $125 a month through a payment agreement with the IRS, NO LIENS. Credit Cards about $100 a month. Credit Scores are for Husband-689 TU and 650 EQ, don't know Experian, Mine are- 714 TU and 670 EQ, no Experian. We pay $953 amonth rent. Do you think we may qualify for a mortgage with what I have provided.
Hi evies,

With the credit scores that you've mentioned, you will be able qualify for a loan. You need to contact the local lenders and apply for a pre-approval. The lender will go through your financial situation and let you know whether or not you would get a mortgage.

This community has a large number of lenders. You can seek a no obligation free mortgage quote from them and this will help you in knowing the rates and terms you might receive.

Thanks
