Hi there… I disputed a late payment with the CRAs which was proven to be accurate. I'm getting ready to apply for a FHA loan, and while the dispute comments were removed from EQ and EX, TransU gave the direction to open a new dispute to dispute the comments. I have done so, but I'm curious as to if anyone has had success with this. I keep reading that people have called and had luck, but I called twice and was told the same thing - to open a dispute and it would be resolved in 30 days. My fear is that even if they DO remove the dispute comments, there will be another dispute comment! Does anyone have ANY experience with removing TransU dispute comments?
Hi Boulei,
I personally feel that you should follow what Transunion has told you. You should send them another dispute letter requesting them to remove the prior dispute from your credit report.
Take care

Hi Boulei,
I don't think there would be any problems if you file a new dispute in order to dispute the remarks on your credit report. I will suggest you to follow what TransUnion has told you.
