Loan office asks me to remove my Dispute Comments. I got a call from my loan office and she told me to remove the Dispute comments. All my disputes are old but they have a message that I disputed them. Any one know how to remove them and why?
To be clear, you will contact the individual bureaus and ask to remove the disputes. So if you have 2 credit cards with Chase, you will call the bureau that is reporting that you are disputing these accounts, the credit bureau will remove the comment saying you are disputing these accounts. Now the lender can pull a new credit report and calcluate your DTI and move forward on your loan.
Hi Gavin,
You should contact the individual credit bureaus and request them to remove the negative items from your credit report. You should note that disputed accounts are not factored into the FICO score. By disputing accounts, you are manipulating the score and the lender won't like that.
Take care
