Is there a time frame that credit reporting agencys have to remove past Judgements from a persons credit history?
Hi timpsonbankwalker,
As far as I know, any negative item remains on a person's credit report for at least 7 years. But if the borrower has paid the dues, then he can request his creditor to negotiate with the credit bureaus and update his/her credit report as "paid in full". If a borrower feels that any of the judgments have been wrongly mentioned in his/her credit report, then he/she may dispute the listing.
Thanks.

however, a judgment is a judgment, and that doesn't go away, necessarily. credit reports are one thing, debts owed are another.
