My credit report shows 2 collections on each credit report both are paid but won't come off after 2014. I have been approved for an fha loan. Is there any way to get these paid collections off early? Can I try to dispute them or will that hurt when I buy in December?
Hi Solomon,
You can contact your creditors or lenders with whom you had the account and ask them to remove the negative account from your credit report. As you've paid off the debts, I don't think they will reject your request.

Hi Solomon,
Paid collections may not have a severe negative impact on your loan application but the lender may want you to explain as to why they went into collections. As Sara has said, it will be better if you could contact your creditors and ask them to remove the negative items from your credit report.
Thanks
