Repair screwed credit

Posted on: 02nd Apr, 2013 01:39 am
Hi… I’m a newbie here. I’m in the process of repairing my screwed up credit reports and needs some advice. My student loans are being reported as late. My loan servicer granted me forbearance all the way back when the first payment was due. my question is will my score increase at all after the bureaus complete investigation and remove inaccurate payment history?
Yes, once the credit bureaus remove the incorrect information from your credit report, then you will find an increase in your scores.

Yes, in the meantime you can follow a good financial regime to improve your credit score further like making timely loan payments, keeping low debt-to-income ratio, avoiding an overrun of credit limit and so on.
