Looking for advice that anyone has in dealing with TransUnion and Equifax/CSC to remove credit disputes from credit report quickly. I had problems with an FHA loan and had to convert to conventional. FHA would overlook disputed items on my credit report, however, that is not true with a conventional loan. I have successfully removed 2 disputed with Experian, 1 dispute with TransUnion and NO disputes with Equifax. Long story short, I am looking for assistance in removing one dispute with TransUnion and one dispute with Equifax/CSC. Has anyone else in the community had a similar problem in the last 2 weeks of their loan process and do you have any advice at all in a soeedy dispute removal w/ the credit bureaus?
Thanks
Thanks
Hi THPOLING!
Welcome to forums!
It is true that it will take some time for the credit bureaus to remove the disputed item from your credit report. Unless the disputed items are removed, your scores won't get improved
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Oh the benefit!!
I am having issues with this as well. The FHA guidelines will not allow there to be any disputes. The other 2 credit bureaus addressed and corrected this issue the same day I called, but Equifax made me file a dispute to undispute the item??? When it came back it said "all information verified," and the notation remains. I called the OC and they said it is my comment they cannot remove it and I called Equifax again they say it's the OC who must remove it??? I have already missed my deadline but would like to have a place to live some day... I really need help on how to deal with this. I also sent a certified letter to both Equifax adn the creditor but they still wont remove it. FHA will not allow me to move forward I am at a deadlock.

I have a question. Mostly lenders are helpful right Mr. Akerley ? so why people worry abt such situation ?
Hi unab!
Welcome to forums!
It will depend upon the borrower's situation as to whether or not the lender will be able to help him/her.

Lenders are not trying to give people the runaround or any sort of hard time. There are restrictions and regulations that specify what must be done for every loan, and that's where a lot of this "extra" effort comes into play.
There are always going to be unscrupulous lenders - folk whose sole effort is to make money, regardless of the circumstances, regardless of how hurtful that might be to the consumer himself. Vigilance will allow for those types to be caught and thrown out of the businees, and perhaps incarcerated if need be.
Borrowers must be vigilant and attentive to what they're told and, in all cases, seek legal assistance when there's something that is not clear. Hey, even if it is clear, that doesn't mean that it's being interpreted correctly.

I'am having same problem with equifax, sent letter to the 2 other trasunion, experian they both removed the dispute asap, but equifax is being a real pain, and we were supposesd to close our loan a week ago, they are the only one holding us up.
Hi dale,
You should contact equifax again and ask them to take the required steps in order to remove the disputed item from your credit report asap.
