What is the trick for removing inquiries from each CRA? Can you tell me which one is the hardest to remove?
Hi Jancy,
You will have to dispute the negative entries with the credit bureaus and try to get them removed.
Take care

Welcome Jancy,
If you have paid off the debts, then you can contact the creditors/collection agencies and send them a goodwill letter requesting them to remove the negative items from your credit report.

“Why?†is the obvious question. Are the inquiries hurting your FICO score? Have you applied for numerous new accounts? If so, these should be reported but may have minimum effect on FICO. Usual culprit that produces multiple “entries†is application for an automobile loan with the person sitting in the dealership. This type of application is shot gunned to multiple lenders who run separate inquiries BUT, within a given time period, count as only one inquiry for FICO scoring.
You have to dispute the negative items with each of the credit bureaus. If your claim is found to be true, then efforts are initiated to remove those items.

You will simply be required to dispute the items off your credit report. Only when the negatives or the wrong listings get removed, you may be able to see some improvements in your credit score.
