Easier said than done.
I have had my own borrowers refuse to pay a credit repair agency after the work was done and successful.
Repairing your own credit isn't just about looking at your credit report.
If you don't know what to look for then you could be spending a lot of time WASTING time
A lot of loan officers do not charge for credit repair help or tips and can be the best resource if you're applying for a mortgage

in order for you to fix your problems, you don't need to linger and spend much of your time staring at your report. go out and seek for help from the professionals (it might be risky, though since most of them are scams). But, you can repair your credit by your own. search some blogs and forums in the net which are helpful in your situation. good luck!
