Need to pay for credit cards taken by my spouse?

Do I need to pay for credit cards taken by spouse?
generally, term insurance policies are renewable (at least in my experience). i think your worry is misplaced - speak with a life insurance agent to get some specific information.

you are correct that renewals might cost more because as people age, life expectancy becomes shorter, of course. but i dont believe the increases, typically, are particularly large.

But when you renew them aren't their prices higher than what you were paying?

you didnt read everything i wrote, but thats okay.

yes, the price will typically go up; but there are term policies that guarantee a price for a specific period of time also. thats why its important to speak with an agent to get the information.

I neve really understood term life insurance. I would agree that it would ahave to be renewable especially if you made all the apyments on time. What would happen in the instance say when it came time for renewal your health wasn't good. Would they still renew or does that have nothing to do with it?

I think since the term policy was up then if you were not in good health they would probly not insure you or it would be very expensive ,but not sure about that.

Thats what I was thinking myself. I don't even come close to understanding all this life insurance stuff. My husbands employment gives us both life insurance coverage..no matter where or how the death occured. It is rare for a company to do that. I think they cover me for like $20,000 and him for $150,000 due to the danger in his job. We don't even pay towards it. They actually made the medical care awesome this year with no deductibles or anything. Wish they would have done that 6 months age. All those 20%'s and the $500 deductuble has me paying out the butt.

the renewal terms of a term-life insurance policy ought to be available up-front when you begin discussing the policy to begin with. certainly, failing health will give the insurance company some concerns when renewing. it is most advantageous to find out precisely how this is handled when initially seeking the policy.

Thanks for the good info.

That stinks if you have been with a company for a long time, then they won't renew you or charge you outrageous price because your health is failing or you are sickly.

I kn ow and this is a point that upsets me very much. You have already paid them so much over the long time that you were there and now when you need them the most they do this kind of stunt. Its like as long as your healthy I'll take whatever monies you want to give me but as soon as your sick stay away I think i've collocted enough.

That is the way it goes, guess they are trying to make smart business decisions, that does not include giving money away.
