Hi there… please help! The tax lien was filed in error. It was only showing on EQ. FICO score was 630. It was removed when I faxed the required proof. But rather than an increase in my score, my FICO score dropped to 627. Nothing else on the report changed. How can your score not go up ANY with the removal of a tax lien??
Hi Jo,
It will take quite sometime to get the correct scores updated in your credit report after you've removed a negative item from your credit report. You should hold your patience and wait for some time to check out if the scores get updated.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Jo,
It is true that credit scores don't get improved quickly. It will take few months time to reflect a better score on your credit report. You will have to patiently wait for this time period in order to see an increase in your score.
Thanks
