Hi there… I had a timeshare which I could not keep due to financial problems. I sold it off and repaid the debt. Now I find that it is showing on my credit report as a foreclosure. Is there anything I can do to try to remove this from my credit report?
Hi Kast,
You should dispute this item with your credit bureaus. If you have the "paid in full" documents from the lender's end, then you may even fax a copy of those documents to the credit bureaus. They may update the correct status in your credit report.
Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Kast!
Welcome to forums!
You can even contact your timeshare lender and ask him to update the correct status of the account to the credit bureaus.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
