can i access my social security income using a debit card? how does this work?

If you have bank account then it will be helpful for you to access your social security income although you can get through a debit card.

Debit cards are good option to access you social security income and the good news is ........... the Treasury department has announced a plan to offer prepaid debit card for the recipents of the Social security. This prepaid debit card will be availabe in sevaral states by the mid of 2008.

More and more agencies are going paperless and to the card to save on paper and on postage. Our unemployment recently went to the card, some people were really resistant to it at first, but with all change they have adjusted. So if they do, I am sure they will have some resistance until people get used to the idea.
