I have a property that is in deed in lue process, and my question is if they can take my other porperties having one with deed in lue.
Hi Ector,
Welcome to the forum.
What I can understand from your post is that one of you property is under deed in lieu process. Is it that you have some other property and have problems regarding mortgage payments? And that is why want this one to go for deed in lieu? Please clarify.
Best of luck,
Larry

Hi Ector,
I don't think a deed-in-lieu carried out on one property can effect the other. This is because in most cases, the lender won't ask for a deficiency, so even if you can't pay it he won't place a lien on the other property.
Hope this helps...
God bless you.
