i am on title but not on the mortgage, my husband wants to do a deed in lieu of foreclosure, will i also be responsible and will this also hurt my credit?

No since you are not on the mortgage it will not show up on your credit. :D
I agree with Cliff. Being on title means that you have interest on the property. Your asset is in jeopardy given the current situation, however, if you are not on the loan the liability will not be shown on your credit report. I recomment you seek the council of a Real Estate attorney to get some advice as to the consequesces prior to taking any action.
