quit claim deed

Posted on: 20th Aug, 2008 08:52 am
my sisters has talked my 87 yr old mother into signing a quit claim deed. she has lived with her in her home for ten years and feels that her time there entitles her to the house. other siblings (5) don't agree with the transaction. can a court overturn this? she may have only added her name to deed. can this be challenged? who pays for the taxes if it is not changed? thank you karin
The transaction may be avoided if it was made because of undue influence. See a local real estate attorney about filing a lawsuit against your mom and sister.

The owner must pay real estate taxes.
