First let me thank you for the answer to my other question.Like I said in my question about the Quit Claim, there are five of us that our mother left undivided interest property to.For about the pass three years we have payed all the land taxes my husband and myself. Its ten acres in Louisiana. Is there anything we can do to get controll of all the land because they don't pay taxes?
Welcome wanda,

If the other owners of the property can quitclaim to you then you will get the ownership. But if they don't want to quitclaim to you then you can buy them out. You contact with an lawyer.

Let me know if you have any further queries.

Hello Wanda,

If the others won't chip in on the taxes, why would they willing sell or quit claim the property? They've got it easy - property with none of the negatives (at least no taxes). I agree with Niicss, contact a lawyer.
