Can my husband and I do a quick deed to our son to avoid a forclosure on our home?
Hi,
Yes you can quit claim your house to your son but the mortgage payments are required to be met as otherwise the house will face a foreclosure.
Talk to a real estate attorney before you do any such kind of thing.

Are you sure that your son can save your home by meeting the mortgage payments as otherwise I don't think it will be of any help.
If your son is able to meet the payments then it is a good solution. If he can't afford then it's better if you talk to your Mortgage Company first, for a solution. Good Luck.

Hi,
I will suggest you to hold back a bit, may be for few months and work on your credit. Once that is done then going for a loan will be an handy option.
As you said, your credit is not so good so it better to work on credit repair. Please refer this article - http://www.mortgagefit.com/credit-rating/credit-repair.html for some useful tips on improving your credit score.
Thanks
