If I get a reverse mortage on my all paid for home, does that mean at the time of my death or move out you would own my home?
Welcome Dot,
If the reverse mortgage lender files a lawsuit and gets a judgment against you from the court, then he will be able to place a lien on your property.

>>can a collection agency attach a lien on my house?
Yes, but they'll never collect if your Reverse Mortgage is negative.

Hi,my name is gary and I have a question about a reverse mortgage.I am really in need of some relief,my wife is totally disabled and does not have any income what so ever, zero nothing. I am semi disabled I have to care for my wife and keep the house up and going.I have lived in this house for 22 years and with all my health problems and bad luck, the IRS has put a lein on my property for the amount of 73,000.00.Now myu question is can I get a reverse mortgage with this lein against it. I have been told that I would have to pay the lein off first, but if I had the money to pay the lein off I wouldn't have to be asking for the loan. Please help me.
Reverse mortgage is a must as it helps a lot especially in case of senior citizens to spend the rest of the time without any worries.
