Does a FHA co-signer have to be a relative? Can an ex-husband, father of your child co-sign on a FHA loan?
the situation you have described ought to work out just fine.
Welcome bhilborn.
Like George said your ex-husband can co-sign with you for the FHA loan. So is he ready to co-sign with you for the FHA mortgage? have you been approved for the FHA mortgage? By the way to get approved for FHA loan you need to make on time payments in the last 12 months, although FHA loans are not score driven.
