Getting FHA loans below 580 has become tougher these days. Although FHA will insure the loans, they will first check if you meet all the FHA guidelines. You can check the following link and see if the lenders agree to give you loan :

I don't think any lender will agree to offer you FHA below 580. Have you spoken to the local lenders of your area? If they offer you loan at 580, they will charge higher interest rates.

yes, paul, loans with scores below 580 are available. they won't be cheap (but what is?), and they won't be easy; but if there is sufficient favorable information - reasons to grant such a loan - then there certainly still exists the possibility of obtaining one.
