Judgment

Recently was approved for a FHA Loan with the knowlege of judgment of 1,900 from 2006, but origionally sent to collections in 1999. Lender still pre approved me for a loan, and not once told me I had to pay off judgment. Now a week before closing the lender is requesting I pay this judgment off. No problem, called collections agency to pay off debt and noone would accept my money due to account being closed in the system. Nor will this agency give me a satisfaction letter stating that the account is closed and can't accept payment. What will be the next step of the lender for me to close without noone willing to accept the the payment.
Hi Tneal,

There are chances that you may not qualify for the loan. As there is a judgment mentioned in your credit report, the lender will either want you to pay off the judgment or show him a lien release certificate.

Take care.
