I have settlement in less than a week on my first home. All of my paperwork has gone through, however there is descrepency with my '08 tax return. I'm unable to provide a w-2, nor am I able to provide an '08 transcript. I have been at my current job 14 months and make sufficient income and my credit score is 668. Without an '08 return is it possible to still receive an fha loan, or is it possible to receive the loan with an adequate co-signer?
Hi willm,
It will be difficult to get a mortgage if you're unable to provide the lender with '08 tax return. However, you can use a cosigner who can provide the lender with 2 years of tax returns. This will help you in getting qualified for the loan.
Thanks
