Welcome luvnet,

Good to know thta you're buying a home. I suppose you've taken help of a realtor. He'll assist you to find a suitable home and help you gfet prepared with the legal documents that are required. Have you started shopping for a mortgage loan? You can check out the "Loan process" section of Mortgage guide on how to shop and apply for a mortgage.

there are so many resources online...go to hud.gov, which is the website of the us housing and urban development department; go to the fha website, do an internet search on first-time homebuying. seek out as many tips as you can. if you know a lender in your area, ask for guidance. if you don't know anyone, counsel with one of us on this site. we have many knowledgeable and helpful people posting on this site, who are willing to help you in your quest. take advantage of all that is offered.

you can never know too much about your first home purchase.

Hi,

let me suggest some points. First you should know what do you really need. list down all what you are expecting in your new home. It could be a house, condo, mobile house, etc. how many rooms, other rooms like kitchen, garage, how many bathrooms etc. then decide how much you can afford. be realistic. make sure you can afford to pay easily. decide the locations. search the web. meet professionals. If you are going for a mortgage loan I have not much knowledge in the field. the other day I came across with this bizymoms expert Carolyn Warren's some good tips. If you are interested go to google and key bizymoms expert Carolyn Warren . She looks genuine.

happy hunting!
